Slow Cook Korean BBQ Short Ribs

A Deep Flavored Meal for a Cold Day

Enjoyed by family and friends, this meal is a slow cooker favorite that can be shredded and served over rice or leftovers used on nachos, pizza and so much more.

Prepare the following ingredients and layer into a slow cooker crock pot

4-6 lbs HHF Short Ribs

1 yellow onion, thinly sliced

Now Mix the following in a bowl & pour over

1 Cup Soy Sauce

1 Cup Beef Broth

2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

1/3 Cup HHF Maple Syrup

1 Heaping Tbsp Brown Sugar

5 Cloves Garlic, minced

1 Tbsp Sesame Oil

1 Tbsp Ginger Paste

1/2 Tbsp Black Pepper

Optional: 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes or 2 Tbsp Gochujang

Set slow cooker on low heat for 6-8 hours

to finish Mix the following and add to sauce

2 Tbsp Cornstarch

1/4 Cup Cold Water

Advice - Serve over rice with broccoli. Leftovers are amazing on nachos or on pizza (our favorite is a olive oil base with asparagus)
